The mirror girl

Place me in my casket tonight, 

cause I’m already dying inside.

My tears of blood serve a dreary sight,

Leave me here or push me aside.

Don’t tell me it’s a path to a feild,

The mirror girl knows that this is real.

Tell me lies to keep me alive,

I know no light I needn’t survive.

Call the critters and ring all the bells,

This isn’t home this is living in hell.

Touch my skin as your hand turns to ice,

Stay away I don’t want your advice.

I know your motives and I know all their schemes,

When I am dead I will visit your dreams.

Call me solemn or call me sincere,

When I'm alone I'm not the only one here.

People drown in a joyous abyss,

Laughter and comfort is something I miss.

I hope one day I get well soon,

False hope is a mockery for fools.

My candle heart melts away,

My heart is sore and my stomach sick.

Find a doctor to fix me - quick!

No reason to speak with nothing to say,

I’ll go in silence yet another day.

What was the reason you did all this?

You never said sorry just it is what it is.

But what is? and why is? and why would you do this?

Break me down and shrink me small,

The mirror girl sees it all.

The faces haunt me in my dreams,

I am not all that seems.

No time to rest, die when you get there,

No time to cry, swallow your despair.

Paint a jolly smile and be on your way,

Just tell yourself it’s one more day.
