Neurodivergent ppl do you relate

Im diagnosed adhd and autistic and I have problems understanding verbal language. Like i can hear, but most of the time it sounds like fucking gibberish. That's why I always prefer texting instead of calling so I can actually understand what's going on. People just assume I'm stupid and, to be honest, I thought I was for a long time. Do any of yall have this issue?
