Scrutinizing Scowls - Poem

The shadows dance and whisper in the heart of the forest,

And the wolves come out to play.

I feel fear as I listen to the wind's eerie chorus,

I must tread carefully to keep the wolves at bay.

As I step on the ground my legs start to stumble,

My blood runs cold with fear.

The nasty animals watch as a fumble,

They whisper and howl amongst their peers.

The rain starts to fall and the dew hits my face,

The creatures are still judging my every move.

I have to get out of this god awful place,

Though mother nature would disapprove.

Is this my punishment for being part of the human race?

A group whom the world pictures a disgrace.

Why must the wolves judge my flaws?

It must be just to harm me with their terrible claws.

Honestly this poem isn't my best work, I wrote it in like 10 minutes, I just wanted to test the blog feature. Uhh the forest is meant to represent the human mind and our perception of the people around us, the wolves are said people hence why they are percieved as nasty and judgemental. Basically the poem as a whole symbolizes how people feel insecure and see others differently because of that, but if you interpreted it another way please comment on this post, I'm curious.
