taking photos not for the aesthetic, but for the feeling alone

lately i've discovered, that all the pix i'd been taking are so dear to me mainly for how they make me feel; be it during the moment the pic was taken or afterwards; they are often pleasing to my eye, still it may be solely bc of what was felt in that moment or how it feels to look at it

sentient is the perftect word for it imo

there's lots of fun in shooting photos w/ diffrent stuff that are not as obvious as a camera or a phone

for example tiny, pink toy camera (3MP, needs lotta light)
a gopro hero 1 (in a waterproof case, with wideee fisheye lens)
tiny thermal printer (in a shape of a cat, with LEDs ofc...)
nintendo switch (which doesn't really has a camera so you have to use an app that takes advantage of it having an IR sensor in one of the joycons lol!!)
