Devil May Cry (og) review

Another quick review for a game: we got devil may cry (dmc), I love this game so much, the combat in it is super fun and it has a pretty interesting plot I think. You're playing as a cocky demon hunter called Dante, who's set on killing a god called Mundus to avenge the death of his parents, and the game is separated into 22 chapters, so that makes it a lot easier to digest combat sequences. It has combat where you're ranked based on your skill, and not just how many things you defeat, so it rewards you for variation and style which I like, it rlly taught me to be more creative with combat, and I carried that all throughout this game series. The only thing I'll say is to be prepared to adjust to fixed camera angles, but don't worry, that stops a bit into the franchise and it's super worth it.

I really liked Dante's character overall I thought he was pretty cool, I'd give it 4.5 stars, the combat is super fun and feels more rewarding, as you purchase moves and see yourself getting better with every run at a boss. A little hard at times, but that adds to the rewarding feeling of finishing it. I'd really recommend this one, especially for the plot (skip the second one imo) prolly one of my fav franchises alongside resident evil :)
