Music making

I feel like sometimes the music industry isn't quite the fairest.

There are people who make really cool songs with new themes, like something fresh, and still get no praise, while there are others who make things that I can't even consider songs due to how "normal" they seem. Music, for me, is poetry but with a melody, and sometimes I think that I've seen it all. I am less and less excited for new music because most of the time it's all the same thing.

As a girl who wants to get into the music industry, I'll try to bring new things. But that also leaves me questioning, "How can I be so critical of something I don't even know if is possible?" How else will I find something to innovate in when everything is already overdone?
