I have seen so many things on both twitter and instagram talking about The Crow remake and the possible American Psycho remake. And like, I'm sorry, but do we really need or even want a remake of either ???? In my opinion, Christian Bale played the part perfectly fine, and same with Brandon Lee. I feel like right now the only thing we are seeing is remakes, and like I get it if the original movie is insanely outdated, like Dune, but American Psycho and The Crow ????????? I feel like we haven't seen any really new ideas in movies as of recently :P I may be public complainer #1 but idccccc I don't want any more unnecessary remakesss (besides Wonka, that movie was literally sososo fun i love:3

I'm personally scared about the American Psycho remake, I don't even want to ever watch the new poster, the new actor or anything because for me (a person who's actually reading the book and can tell) Patrick Bateman has Christian Bale's face and expressions.
If someone arrives and tries to copy him, it won't work, and if they try to make something completely different, it won't work either because, Do I even need to mention how perfect Christian was in that role?
That's how Patrick would be if he were a real and random guy. No doubts and no changes.
I sound obsessed but I'm typing facts. :P
i agree, although i havent read the book, christian bale did such an amazing performance i dont think there's really anyone else who can encapsulate patrick bateman as a character the way he did

And, about the book, it has some reeeeally funny moments, let's say that in the book Patrick is far more weird dumb and he's the kind of guy that looks at a small hole ina wall and thinks what would happen if he were too small, entered in that small whole and dissappeared (Not exaggerating, he's that much silly, i even wrote a blog about it (I'M NOT OBSESSED OF COURSE
sadly, the book has entire paragraphs about Patrick saying: his tie was blue with small red details and his shirt was a versace collection and bla, bla, bla, but it's funny to read it and think about Christian acting it :P

I got it in a random pdf online in spanish, so I can bet that it must be in english somewhere.
Plus, in the book, the whole thing with Luis happens quite at an early point, so Patrick has many other uncomfortable encounters (if that word exists in english) were he's basically escaping from Luis, it's truly gay and funny.

LOLLL im looking forward to that :DD there's a book store not too far from where i live so i should find it pretty easy, or i'll order it online. i like having a physical book rather than an online one, its easier for me to focus on it xP
