Resident evil (og) review

Gonna start posting some game reviews on here of games I've finished/am in the process of, hopefully it could help someone find a game they're looking for and might like, this is my first so apologies if it's a little concise <3

Resident Evil 1 (og)

Okay I love it so much just because of its iconic-ness but damn the controls are tricky starting off (inversion). I rlly think with time the inversion on the controls won't be a problem for you after a little while though. So this game is great for getting into the story of resident evil, of course, given it's the first one lol, personally think the graphics are pretty nice, especially in cut scenes. The story is quite good, you can play as characters Chris/Jill, and the vibe of the game is pretty old and gory, discovering biomedical malpractice, that kinda thing. This first game  introduces one of my fav people in the franchise Wesker, so that's probably assists to why I like it so much. But damn imo this game rlly shows you that dogs are a person's worst enemy in the resident evil universe (except that one doggy from resi4 <3)

It's set in a desolate mansion in the woods and it rlly just makes the player feel disconnected from modernity. I'd recommend it for anyone who's into that uncanny 2000's horror vibe, because I feel a little bit like I time traveled when I played it, no other way to explain it. Best experienced on the oldest tv you can find ;)
