I have no actual way of knowing what basic DNI criteria is, there isn't a universal basic standard.
"Basic DNI" defeats the whole purpose of a DNI. DNIs are supposed to make it clear on what types of people you don't want to interact with you.
Saying "basic DNI" doesn't actually describe who you would want to avoid, and as such you increase your chances of someone you don't want to talk to be on your friends list.
I don't know about others, but to me it's annoying because I have to either be super careful around people with "basic DNI" or get blamed for violating a rule on their DNI that they didn't make apperent.
