Maggot Brain

today i listened to Maggot Brain by Funkadelic. I had been meaning to for a few months now after learning Ween's A Tear for Eddie was a homage to Funkadelic's guitarist, Eddie Hazel, and his style of playing. i don't even have a funny quip here this album is just genuinely crazy good. It's fun but also genuinely beautiful at times. eddie hazel was a fucking master at his class, god rest his soul

Highlights

• Wars of Armageddon is really fun  you know it's good if they can incorporate a baby crying and the song still works not in spite of it but have it add something to it
• had already heard the song maggot brain a few times by now, and its a beautiful experience every time
• hit it and quit it is a Jam
• ok i hate to only talk about the guitar, the keyboardist bernie worrel and drummer tiki fulwood are super good too
