Estoy viendo el Festival de Viña y se me ocurrió hacer un pequeño blog sobre Los Bunkers porque amo ese grupo. :)

Los Bunkers es una banda de rock chilena que inició en 1999 en la ciudad de Concepción, Chile. Conformada por los hermanos Francisco Durán (guitarra) y Mauricio Druán (guitarra), Álvaro López (voz), Gonzalo López (bajo), Manuel Lagos (ex-baterista) y Mauricio Basualto (batería).

Influenciados por diversos estilos musicales como folklore y rock, y artistas como The Beatles, Cream y Los tres; la banda comenzó a experimentar con estilos como el rock clásico, britpop, electrónica y psicodelia. Han lanzado un total de 8 álbumes y 31 sencillos, contando incluso con un álbum tributo al famoso cantautor y poeta cubano Silvio Rodríguez.

Durante una larga pausa, la banda se reunió en 2019 para realizar un concierto gratuito en medio de las protestas por el estallido social en el centro de Santiago de Chile. Los Bunkers es en definitiva un ícono del rock chileno. En 2023 la banda regresó para lanzar un nuevo álbum llamado "Noviembre". Han dado más de 300 conciertos.

Un par de datos curiosos son que tienen una colaboración con el famoso show infantil 31 Minutos, en la que algunos personajes de la serie como Juan Carlos Bodoque y Tulio Triviño, con otras marionetas protagonizan el video musical de "Una nube cuelga sobre mí" junto a los miembros de la banda; y en una oportunidad cantaron con el famosísimo cantante chileno Jorge González, ex-líder del también popular grupo Los Prisioneros.

I'm watching Los Bunkers at the Festival de Viña on TV and I got the idea to post a little blog about this band called "Los Bunkers" cuz they're one of my fav bands. <3

Los Bunkers is a chilean rock band that was formed in Concepción, Chile in 1999. Their members are the Durán (brothers) Francisco (guitar) and Mauricio (guitar), Álvaro López (singer), Gonzalo López (bass), Manuel Lagos (ex-drummer) and Mauricio Basualto (drums).

Influenced by various musical styles such as folklore and rock, and other bands such as The Beatles, Cream and Los Tres; the band began to experiment with some styles such as classic rock, britpop, electronic music and psychedelia. They have released a total of 8 albums and 31 singles, one of that albums is a tribute to the famous sing-songwriter and poet Silvio Rodríguez.

Los Bunkers were on hiatus until 2019, when the band reunited to give a free concert amid the chilean protest over social demands. They're definitely an icon of chilean rock. In 2023 the band releases its new album "Noviembre". They have given more than 300 concerts.

Some curious fact are that they colaborated with the popular children's program called 31 Minutos. In the music video for "Una nube cuelga sobre mí" some characters of the program appear such as Tulio Triviño and Juan Carlos Bodoque with other puppets to record the mv with the band members; also they sang once with popular chilean singer Jorge González, ex-leader of the famous band Los Prisioneros.
