February leap day

February twenty twenty four went by quickly. It seems as if I say that all the time. In reality it does seem that way. My mom, sisters, brother and nephew have been doing okay. It was a busy month towards the end. I would describe it in that particular way. Valentine's day was great for me. It was a fun type of day with my family. That's how I celebrate it. I know it mostly centers around romantic themes. Although most knew that already about Valentine's day. Several days ago I decided to braid my hair after a five month break. I've bought marley twist extensions from a beauty supply store. I found that to blend well with my actual hair for braiding. This happened on the morning of February twenty second. I was looking at the mirror and thought it was time. I took it in a lighthearted way. I was constantly combing and brushing my hair everyday as usual. There were also issues with breakage which wasn't new to me. I'm currently looking for a great conditioner and moisturizing for my hair type. My hair didn't look terrible before. I just wanted to go back to my braids. Another thing to mention is my poetry writing. Mostly I did poetry writing rather than journal writing for this month. I wrote inside my journal throughout the month. Fast forward it's the twenty ninth of February. It's leap day to be exact. I went to get a few errands done with my mom and oldest sister. I had a good day. I hope for next month to be as great as February. Peace until next time.
