How to Deinterlace your video in Sony Vegas

Are you tired of those jagged lines in your videos if it's shot at 60i? Here's some steps that you should try if you have a copy of Sony Vegas


The Steps:

1. Open Vegas

2. Drag the file(s) into the timeline

3. Go into 'Project Video Properties' by pressing 'Alt' and 'Enter' at the same time

4. Select 'Field Order' from 'Upper Field first' to 'None (Progressive scan)'.

5. Select deinterlacing method to 'Interpolate Fields'

6. Click 'Render As'

7. Click the arrow next to 'Sony AVC/AAC (*.mp4,*.m2ts,*avc)'

8. Scroll down until you see 'Internet 1280x720-60p'

9. Click 'Customize Template' and select the video resolution to either 960x720 or 1920x1080 and change the bitrate to about 8,000,000 bps

10. Click 'Render' and wait until the video is done
