☆ thrift stores and ghosts

Thrift stores are very fun, my favorite stores to shop at are all thrift stores. The main reason for that is how unpredictable they are. Some are great, full of valuable, high quality items, and a large variety. Others are goodwill. Seriously, goodwill is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think they give a single shit about what they put on their shelves. I have seen LITERAL TRASH on those shelves multiple times! Like, empty bottles, used up candles, etc. Is it like that in other places or is it just goodwills near me?

I see people online talk about all the amazing finds they've gotten from thrift stores, and while I've bought tons of clothes and other items that I love, I don't think I've ever had a situation where I found something really expensive being sold for super cheap. It makes me wonder if I'm just not looking hard enough, or if those people are just super lucky.

My favorite thrift store finds are definitely my porcelain dolls. They're so easy to find, as most people don't want them but tons of people donate/give them up. I love all of my dolls so much, they're like my children. There's something about them that freaks me out through. I have, on multiple occasions, seen two of them blink. Maybe I'm hallucinating, but I swear I've seen them blink, and sometimes I even see their eyes move. I have a carousel horse music box that I also got from a thrift store, and it randomly starts playing sometimes when I haven't even touched it or winded it up.

I always wonder if there's something paranormal behind that. Like ghosts maybe? I don't know much about that type of stuff, but it's very interesting to think about.

I guess I don't mind the dolls being a little bit haunted as long as they aren't malicious ghosts, maybe they're friendly ones who just wanna watch over me and make sure I'm safe. I certainly don't know. I just hope for the best, I guess. That's all I have to say for today.
