WILBUR SOOT AND HIS DISGUSTING SUPPORTERS SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN A PLATFORM.
Recently, this has been seemingly up for debate - It shouldn't be.
Let me be clear:William Spencer Patrick Gold, known by his internet alias Wilbur Soot, is an abuser - full stop. What he did to his partners, his collaborators, his victims, is not acceptable - full stop. He should not be idolised, looked up to, defended or given a platform - FULL. F*CKING. STOP.
This man has PUBLICLY expressed misogynistic, homophobic and transphobic behaviour during his time on SootHouse, long before his music career and streaming career ever took off. He was showing red flags from the very beginning - the fact it took this long for people to care and stop treating it as just a joke is, honestly, quite shocking.
Even before he was outed as a manipulative abuser, there were signs from the very beginning.
Seeing so many people claiming to support victims suddenly pull an about-face and be super parasocial about him, to the point of invalidating his victim's experiences, is WILD in the worst way.

wow, y'all really hop on here and write without thinking. the fact that you went straight for my interests instead of actually forming a decent counterpoint says it all really.
it's not like there's no evidence. multiple of his former friends have spoken about his behaviour. he admitted to it on twitter, albeit in a way that dismissed the actual issues and made him look like the victim.
Quit defending him like you've got some lameass parasocial connection with him and listen to the victims. he is not your friend - he's a manipulative asshat and you've fallen for it. Be Better.

He's a Minecraft YouTuber - He used to be a part of something called the DreamSMP with a lot of other youtubers.
He abused two women he was dating and possibly others too and his apology was absolute shit
