I don't know how many people on here play Overwatch 2 but I need to talk about this.
It feels like overwatch 2 season nine is the season of heal botting. I gold gunned mercy at the end of least season expecting to play her a lot in season 9 but holly shit... as soon as you stop healing suddenly everyone is at critical. It feels like mercy (along with other supports) has been rendered completely useless and if you want to play support your only option if is zen (who is so broken)
Also! the jade guns... they are so ugly! the reason gold guns worked so well was because gold was a color that worked with everything but green?! there are very few skins in the game that look good with the jade gun.
as a d.va main though i enjoy the projectile change but it feels like i get absolutely melted unless there's a support constantly on my ass.
they completely lowered the skill barrier... now do i think this is a good thing per say
not really. it made really fun characters really boring and not fun to play.
on the more positive side
the rank reset was wonderful and the improved rank system made playing in competitive so much more enjoyable. it seems like blizzard is starting to care more about comp modes. (should add comp mystery hero's!!)
they've kinda sucked all the fun outta the game and just made it a boring sweat fest of constant counter swapping and meta heroes.

I get the healbotting part... but healbotting was always an issue for me because I don't do much damage on other supports except for zen...
I feel like the major issue really is just people not taking advantage of cover thats in the maps. Whenever I play i usually never have an issue with others not using cover...but I also don't play comp either, or quick play that often.
I think the passive could be tweaked a little because I do believe it's a fitting punishment for people not using cover and just going in without their team, but it's too much at the moment.
yeah, for sure. I find in some higher comp ranks the cover thing isn't a problem but in lower ranks, quickplay and arcade i defiantly noticed that people aren't taking advantage of the healing passive.
