1. Famous Last Words: Surprisingly MCR isn't the first band that comes to mind, but I have good reason for it! This band has some of the best instrumentals I've ever heard, and while I still adore the singer's voice and lyrics it would be best if the singer were excluded. Whenever I make a playlist for a concept I almost always include this band's instrumentals.
2. My Chemical Romance: This band is my favorite band of all time and their music has already been in many movies, shows, and even video games. It's a no-brainer having this band be on this list.
3. Jack Off Jill: Another one of my favorite bands. I actually based and named one of my newer characters after one of their songs (though the rest of that character's personality is based on Jack Off Jill's music.) They have a very recognizable style and I think that would be useful while making a soundtrack.
4. Aiden: This one is a bit controversial because of the serious allegations against the lead singer, however in a perfect world where the lead singer isn't a creep this would be a great band to have on a soundtrack. They have a couple songs that have been in movies and wrote a theme song for a WWE wrestler.
5. King Adora: This band is pretty underground but I know they would sound awesome in a movie. I can guarantee that this band has never had any of their songs in any movies so it would be the perfect chance to get sounds nobody's heard to set the scene.
6. The Pixies: This band is super weird and if I were to make movies and stuff of that nature it would also be super weird.
7. Deftones: Sexy and Sad. A perfect combination. 'Nuff said.
8. Smashing Pumpkins: Billy Corgan is a virtuoso on the guitar and a dreamy voice that would be useful in movie making.
9. Tapping The Vein: Another super underground band that deserves a spot on this list. This band reminds me off Silent Hill a bunch and I think they would add a beautiful sound to the soundtrack.
10. Scarling: basically a chilled out version of Jack Off Jill.
11. Acid Bath: Perfect for a fight scene.
12. Zillakami: This might shock some but I think his music should be in movies. You just gotta trust me on that one.
13. The Used: but only the first two albums (including the instrumental version.)
14. Ensign: Great fighting music.
