Winamp Propaganda - aka lets take a proper gander at my favourite winamp skins!

I recently discovered the wonder of the winamp app through Instagram of all things! A small indie music artist was using it to showcase their songs ^^ Thank you Sir!

A friend of mine answered my query of what they were and I found one of the most beautiful sites on the web:

Now I wanted to show you some of my favourites, to truly convince you of Winamps beauty and utility as a unique music app!

Up first is this beautiful elf lady atop a flower with a vaguely art noveau style. Great for celtic, folk and video game forest level osts!

This one is a beautiful take on the classic gameboy aesthetic! Aptly named Amp Boy :3

This is one of my favourites as it is especially unique and also one of the rare piece of media referencing Halo Jones! If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it! Halo Jones is an underrated icon. https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/The-Ballad-of-Halo-Jones-2018

You can find winamps for a lot of anime, cartoons and other fandoms, especially those popular in the 90s, 2000s, and early 2010s /\___/\. I especially like Naruto, so I-

downloaded these two! Once I figure out how to make winamp skins, I will try to make a more visually appealing orochimaru skin :3

There are also plenty of more gothic style winamps, and video game winamps! This ones gold and black layout was especially beautiful to me.

The Powerpuff Girls were one of my first ever special interests as a child, and I still have a nostalgic fondness for it to this day :3 This skin turns your mouse cursor into one of the girls when you hover over it!

I like the colour blue, water, and pretty girls so thats what these skins excel at for me haha

And finally, this superb creepycute skin with a beautiful gradient and tooth mixers! All aesthetics can be found in the winamp skin museum!

I have saved many more skins, and could go on about them forever haha but alas I would never get this published if I tried that haha.
