Why are "straight" teenage boys so gay

Okay so like I have 2 brothers but the one this is about is my 13 year old brother and I swear to god he has got to be a homo. He and his best friend act so gay. Theyll sit in the same seat even if it means sitting in eachother laps even when theres plenty of free seats left and they'll sit so close together on the bigass couch we have in our living room. They call each other pookie 24/7 and at the last sleepover they had I heard my brothers friend say "Ian has such a GYATTT. you should see him in baseball pants." (Ian is my brothers name) like hello??? do you have something you want to tell me??? They also were making not so joking jokes about wanting to do couples tiktok trends. Either they are secretly gay as hell for eachother or they're just really weird but also nearly every other teenage boy I've met acts like this??? Im homeschooled now so I'm not around as many other teenage boys other than my brother but when I was in middle school every "popular class clown" duo acted just like this and some of them even kissed??? ARE TEENAGER DUDES WEIRD OR JUST GAY OR BOTH I NEED ANSWERS
