Hi! ๐๐ป I'm a big country and folk fan and I'd like to broaden my music taste! (I'm the type to listen to willie and John denver!)ย
I'd like to listen to more music :) if you have any recommendations for me that'd be great! I'd prefer it to be in the genres I've mentioned (Country/folk/gothic country) but I wouldn't mind some Midwestern emo too!ย
Have a good night/day!ย

I'm not super familiar with country artists so maybe we can trade recs? I'm not sure which genre I wanna recommend more, Bossa Nova, EDM, or rock. I'll do all of them! (๏ผพโฝ๏ผพ)
For Bossa Nova, I'm gonna recommend the iconic Artists Jorge Ben Jor ( try "Mas Que Nada" and Cade Tereza"), Antonio Carlos Jobim/aka Tom Jobim (try "A Felicidade"), and Djavan ( try "Samurai" featuring Stevie Wonder)
For EDM, I really like more aggressive beats, So I'd recommend Odetari (Try "Baby I'm Home" and "GOOD LOYAL THOTS"), Kanii (Try "Sins" and "I Know"), and also Pink Pantheress (Try "Where You Are" featuring Willow Smith)
For Rock, I'd say try Rage Against the Machine (Try "Guerilla Radio" and "Killing in the Name of"), The Pretty Reckless (Try "Death by Rock and Roll"), and Judas Priest (Try "Breaking the Law")

Woah! Definitely giving those a try :D I'll offer my banana peel
Classic/old Country! Willie nelson "Roll me up and smoke me when I die" and "I fall to pieces" but I would also reccomend Patsy clines version of this song too! Also "Juanita" by Strugill Simpson AND Willie nelson too
Modern country with a drop of pop! Orville peck's song "Cmon baby cry" or just anything by that guy! I don't really favor modern country, but his hits the spot.
Gothic country! "Bad things" by Jace evertt and "Cocytus" by Pawns or kings!
Thanks for your recs! Hope you like mine :-)
