Being Introspective

The other day I was laying on the bed with my friend. We were holding hands and I felt awkward because I’m not used to stuff like that. I said to them “I don’t know what I’m doing so I feel really awkward” they replied by telling me “no one knows what they’re doing” so tell me this, why does everyone pretend to know what they’re doing? If no one does, why pretend and make those who are unaware feel like they’re the only ones who are completely lost?
