what the fuck happened to common sense?

in my 15 years of living i have never come across as many people that lack the simplest competence and are generally just stupid as i have so far in 2024 alone (it's febuary). that statement makes me look like an arrogant dick - which might be true, but at least i have basic thinking skills and the ability to understand other people. i'm unsure if lockdown just dumbed down 90% of the population or the anti-vaxxers were right and the covid vaccine fucked us up in the heads and caused most of us to have ZERO idea what to do in a social situation - or any situation to say the least, but whatever it was that created this new norm needs to be shutdown and emergency procedures need to be put in place asap before this mindset spreads and becomes another global epidemic.
