VOICE OF THE GIRLS #4 IS OUT NOW!!!

It was about damn time to release anything after a long time. It's the one year anniversary of Voice Of The Girls #1, which was the first album to officially start Sonic4 Test Records. To celebrate it, I've made the most surreal and emotionless album yet. It's a data noise album, the tracks have been butchered to nothing but corrupted pieces of code. But on a serious note, it was just a cassette I found in a random commodore 64 cassette reader device. I have no idea what game it could be, but I used it to make this album... And also, I'm literally at a cabin in the mountains as I'm writing these. We went for a snow holiday up in Uludağ, and today I'll go back to my house in Istanbul. Alright alright, enough rambling. Here's the link, and then we'll get to the news.

Voice Of The Girls #4 - Sonic4

Time for the news.

--Main Projects--

Well, what can I say that hasn't been said previously? The pre-release version of AuditoryStaleDöner will release at May 9, the one year anniversary of STALE01.

--VaultKid Projects--

And as for VaultKid projects, there are two of which I haven't talked about in detail. 幻想郷 からの 失われた メディア will be the ARG thing with Alice98 that I mentioned on my previous posts. The album is complete, but the photos and the story aren't. I don't wanna talk about it too much, and you could kind of guess why. In case it doesn't release, It'll only be out there in REAL LIFE. 3 Physical Compact Discs. I'll keep one, and give the other two to my friends. (Alice, If you're reading this, I took a lot of photos up in the mountain crib. It'll be worth it.)

The other VaultKid project is titled Thirty Seven Glass Shards by (the) Anti Aslanicus Association. I haven't talked about this one before, but it'll simply be a strange album like none other. It's filled with random comedic skits and inside jokes about our time when we got involved in an internet war against the biggest lostwave troll, short clips of songs posted by Alice98, a heck ton of arguing with each other, butchered lostwave songs by me, and certainly swearing like we never did before. It's not complete, but I'll say one thing. A new artist will show up, and he'll be the rudest one of them all. Everyone takes responsibility for their own words, but together we are the Anti Aslanicus Association. We moved on, though.

One thing related to Thirty Seven Glass Shards is going to be a single release of Five Inch Nails by Alice98 and Sonic4. That song became an inside joke between us, and I made an imaginary "part two" of how it would sound like after the fadeout of the first. I always wanted to make a BUTCHER code for all those single two-track releases such as Der Haaland, Never have I met someone like you, and Butchered Jackson's Mix For Halloween, and now's finally the time. It'll be released on Sonic4 Test Records, not VaultKid.

--Side Projects--

Now, y'all already know the deal with the side projects. Please Stand By is still on hold. People are sometimes posting submissions, but I haven't ordered them and anything. It'll be on my to-do list, but just not now. I don't feel like working on them, but this album is pretty fire and it has a lot of potential.

STALE04 at the end of time is still ongoing, and I2 is next up. No new output can be made until Alec Bee makes the song templates. Stage 5 is not something I can make all by myself.

And, one new side project (for the future, and unrelated to sonic4 test records):

Sonic4's Lost Media Archive. Some of you might know this already, but the point of this project is to digitize and identify the songs in the unknown audio AND video cassettes that I've bought or was given a while ago. Alice98 will of course be on the frontlines, because she's good at finding songs. It'll be hosted on a discord server, and on a bandcamp page where you can listen to and track the progress of what has been found so far. If we absolutely can't find anything, they'll be posted to a WatZatSong account for others to help the search. Sonic4's Lost Media Archive - Bandcamp (Just know that I haven't started this project yet. I'll start it when I feel like it. Keep waiting, Alice.)

That's all I'd like to say. See you on the next release.
