I don't know what title to give this 1.0

This is my first time publishing my writings, I hope whoever is reading this finds it enjoyable. I accept criticism

-Happy birthday –A high-pitched voice exclaimed while the dim light of a dying candle illuminated the place–

-Thank you! Happy birthday to you –An even sharper voice responded shortly before the light went out, leaving a thread of smoke in the darkness

10 years had passed since that dark night and only a melancholic memory remained.

She was not a very talkative girl and even less so after what happened that birthday, nor was she very close to her brother even though they were born on the same day, she never felt that twin connection. Be that as it may, any of those feelings were going to be extinguished that same afternoon, like a withered rose that was not even given a chance to bloom.

She didn't like the idea of an arranged marriage, but it was her duty as the daughter of the monarch to be of service, or at least that's what she was told during her 19 long years.

A group of maids fixed her clothes, combed her hair, put her makeup on, and made countless alterations to her.

Knock knock an echo was heard in the room.

-You can come in –she said with a serious voice before the maid opened the door.

-Are you ready? The king requests your presence

–I'm not ready yet, just give me... Ouch –He exclaimed in pain when he felt a pull on his hair giving him the last touch, bringing her closer to her inevitable future. She sighed deeply as she looked in the mirror, it wasn't her.– I'll go see what my father needs, Thanks everyone.

He bowed slightly to the maids cleaning up the mess in his room before trudging out.

As he walked, he noticed how empty There were the halls of the palace, as if there was only her in the entire place. Surely they were somewhere else arranging everything for their wedding.

As she walked in search of her father, she began to think about her life, basically about to end without even having begun, being the wife of a man she had never even seen was just The tip of the iceberg, the idea of having children and living forever under her husband gave her chills.

He walked near the dining room, which to his surprise, was equally empty and silent, even the fall of a feather would be audible at that moment. Her face lit up with joy.Was it his chance to escape his future? Or would he only condemn her more? Anyway, if her life were to end today, at least she would like it to go away from that prison called the palace.

He walked slowly towards a hidden door in the kitchen, trying not to make any noise, and just as he crossed it he was completely filled with joy. After a few moments she He scaled a wall and left the place completely. Years of living there made her learn every corner and place where no one would ever see her if she escaped. It was relatively easy, which made her think about why she had not done it before.

Behind the wall, there was a deep forest where they would not find her for months, she did not even know what she would do next, she just ran while the repressed tears came out in streams of her eyes

Her feet stumbled and tangled again and again with her dress but she managed to keep her balance until after a few minutes that could have been hours, Her knees gave out, making her fall to the ground, smashing her face into the ground.

Anyone passing by would think it was a corpse that had been forgotten.

She stayed on the ground for a moment before sitting on the damp earth staring into space, wondering how long it would take to find her, or if he would even bother to look for her. Thinking that perhaps the only way to escape was to die, at least dying in a cool, open space was better than in the palace.

In any case, his thoughts were interrupted by a red light coming from a cluster of grass, with intrigue he approached and took what seemed to be a gem in his hands.; It was red and somewhat small, a few moments after analyzing it, a gust of air rose around it, surrounding it in a radius of at least 4 meters.

His vision blurred and his panorama moved noisily. After a few seconds the atmosphere calmed down, leaving her confused and dazed.

She spent a few seconds wondering what had happened while still holding the gem in her hand when a kind voice addressed her, making her look up.

Sorry, I know there wasn't much dialogue here, I promise the next chapter will have more. (I know no one will read this but it's worth trying...or is it?)
