as far as i know, people dont like "uwu" and its variants mainly cus "EW CRINGE FURRY" culture
collectively, as chronically-online internet users, we made it seem like it was the worst thing ever, like its a sin to type it out, it makes people vomit in their mouths when they see it because they can only associate it with 2018
personally, i dont care if other people say it. as the hippie in me says, whatever makes you happy, do it.
same logic when it comes to the word "moist"

ik i used to say it alot in 2020 and later on got really embarassed when someone would bring it up.. maybe other people have similar experience with embarassment over "cringy" memories?
