my opinion on yaoi and yuri (TW: Mention of Sex, Kidnapping and GRAPE)

Yaoi and Yuri aren't the same as BL and GL.
Yaoi is a genre of fictional media originating in Japan that features homosexual relationships between male characters. It is typically created by women for women and is thus distinct from bara (gay manga), a genre of homoerotic media marketed to gay men. However, yaoi also attracts a male audience and can be produced by male creators. 
Now Yuri, Is Basically just like Yaoi instead it is lesbian women, But just like Yaoi it is designed to attracted to Males but of course, It could be created for women too.
But usually, In Yaoi and Yuri, the most thing you will see is sex scenes, Something that made Yaoi and Yuri popular. Basically, Yaoi and Yuri are more like smut but that is more of my opinion i guess.
Now BL and GL, BL is commonly mistaken as Yaoi. Now of course, Yaoi could be Boy Love but what's one thing that separates BL and Yaoi? You guessed it! The sex parts! Let's take Heartstopper for example they may had sex in the book but did they really show every part of it? NO! To me, Heartstopper is more Vanilla and comfortable than most Yaoi stories I see today, At least I dont get flashed by cocks and cum on every page.


The problem I have with Yaoi:

People like the dramatic Yaoi, Yk the one with kidnapping and...grape. Let's take Killing Stalking as an example, It is basically Horror, Drama, and Yaoi all in one I did not read the book because I do not like that type of stuff personally. I just searched up some characters to it and Oh Sangwoo is the second main character of this book and is the antagonist. he basically kidnaps, abuses, tortures, Grapes, and kills people. Red flag to the entire story instantly. This entire book what I so far seen is basically romanticizing an abusive relationship you could correct me if im wrong if you have read that.
