Well there’s a handful of reasons if I’m being honest but I’ll try to sum up the top ones. Well first of all I believe that most of these kids just have no where to go anymore, places like Toys R Us have closed down in the US and there’s been a bit of a decline in the toy industry with the creation of these one time use toys that are usually made of cheap plastic junk. I think some kids nowadays also feel pressured to grow up, they don’t know HOW to be kids anymore and play pretend and all that. Add this to the factor that children can instead just watch other kids play with all the toys they dream of owning, they flock to stores like Sephora not really understanding what they should actually be doing at that age. It’s a bit of a pity when u think about it, I grew up on YouTube but even then I still played with my toys, role playing with them and sometimes even recording little skits with them. If Gen Alpha made that today I think they’re more prone to having people make fun of them even if there’s actually no harm in it
yeah i just hate how the internet is now honestly no hate to gen alpha i have a little brother im just sad at how little kids cant even have a propper childhood (all of the skincare kids ive seen a video of little girls thinking its cringe to play with toys) i just wish the internet now is promoting random insecurities
