Is it just me

Or is Welcome To The Black Parade about being proud of yourself even though you are emo and you recieve hate for it? The line "Disappointed faces of your peers" probably means that other people can be mean to emo/alt ppl and say horrible things and think of us as less important. The line "take a look at me 'cause i could not care at all" (at least i think that's what the line is) means that people are gonna be mean to emo/alt ppl, and you have to ignore it and not care what they think. The lines "do or die, you'll never break me / because the world will never take my heart" are actually kind of self-explanatory. These lines show that rock and roll is great and you can't ever let haters ruin it for you.
