bvb and blink aren’t emo and bmth is debatable, but now that i’ve got the gatekeeping out of the way, all those are great bands that everyone should listen to!!! i’m not as familiar with the scene ones but everyone should listen to every single band on the emo list
I have more knowledge on scene than emo, sorry
I feel like its easier to find actual scene bands whereas emo tends to have a lot of controversy and arguments

thats so true, pop-punk and emo fans are the worst gatekeepers and genre nazis for stuff that doesn’t even matter

For scene music, mayb also S3RL or OMFG (they’re more of rave scene music tho)! Also maybe Avril Lavigne? She’s more skater, but I think she’s a lil popular w scene culture as well but I’m not sure!
