My Birthday

For my birthday (2/19), I went to the Riverside County Fair! I was so excited, I was even considering riding the Fireball! I thought it was smaller, but unfortunately not so I just decided to not go on it.. But for the first few were two Ferris Wheels and my favorite; The Hawaiian Express! I remember my first time last year, I was so scared but now I love it so much! I guess there were two over there, The Hawaiian Express and The Himalaya. I did kind of like The Himalaya better because it was faster and the speed bumps were rougher. After that, my sister and I went on this ride that had a cart you sat in. As you slowly ride inside, it gets dark and you're met with animatronics behind a plastic barrier. Some popped out while some just stood still. I covered my ears because it's too loud for me, but I got jumpscared only twice. One being a sudden spark on my right hand side and an animatronic popping out behind the plastic. After that, we went to go to some of the playhouses while my dad and brother were waiting in line for a ride. We then went to the bumper cars and I noticed right behind us was the Alien Invasion ride. That ride is pretty fun and I tried to convince my sister to come along with me. I took a bit of convincing after we got off the bumper cars until she finally agreed. She ended up loving it and we went on it over and over again. After, now it was finally time for me to search for the monkey on the other side of the fair. When I got to it, I noticed the monkey wasn't shaking hands, but instead taking pictures. So, I paid seven dollars and I sat down until I turned to my left to see... The Colombian white-faced capuchin! Capuchins were my favorite types of monkeys and I got to hold it! The monkey had a dress, so I assume it's a girl. She was so cute! After this, my memory is a little foggy and all I could remember was we went across the street to eat. After eating, we went on a few more rides on the kids side. My mom gave me ten dollars; Five for me and my sister. I ended up buying a Rainbow Dash and Ochako keychain for five while my sister bought a Sakura Miku keychain. Me and my family then headed to eat some cinnamon rolls and they were huge! I ended up eating half of mine before worrying about if I would throw up on a ride, so I stopped. I think I went on the Hawaiian Express and Alien Invasion again after finally getting on the FreeFall ride! I wanted to try it because it would be over quickly and I went on with my brother. I remember I was checking my harness at least four to five times before beginning to slowly lift up. My heart was beating so fast because the slower it went, the more I began to question myself how tall it actually was. I looked up and down to notice I couldn't even see how high it was, making it scarier. When it came to an abrupt stop I braced myself before quickly dropping straight down. When that happened, it was so unexpected and I felt my body lift up from the force. I was the loudest one on that ride and now looking back on the video my daddy took, my scream was really loud and genuine.. It was over with quick and honestly, I liked it! I went on a few more of the same rides earlier before leaving. It was so fun, and I might try even more scary rides! Not too scary though, a fun scary!
