The Burden of wisdom

The burden of wisdom

I often wonder if I have enough wisdom to handle the challenges that life throws at me, or have I just been unlucky and inept? I often compare myself to others, often those who have had a better starting point in life, those who often look down on people like me. They may have had an easy life, but do they have any wisdom? Do they have any experiences that have made them a better person? Do they have any joy in sharing what they have with others, or are they only concerned with themselves? I believe that those who have experienced more difficulties in life, that it leads to better wisdom than a life that is easy. I believe that facing grief, loss and pain makes one wiser, stronger and more compassionate. And having a life that is filled with wisdom and experiences offers a rich heart, is better than having a lavish life.

It is therefore important to be faithful to yourself, your values and experiences. It is much more important than following fashions and trends. To be just, honest and kind is better than to be unjust, evil and false. I know I have a lot of time left, but I have a lot of experiences that have shaped me into who I am today, I think it has made me wiser about life than many others are at my age. But I still hope that there are opportunities out there for me even if it hasn't always looked bright at times. But I hope that I have loved and been loved in the life I have. The burden of the  of wisdom in life.
