alright. this is gonna be really weird advice but it worked for me during senior year--live vicariously through media and use that as motivation to do good. for example, i watched lucky star to an almost nauseating degree a few years ago and if i'm being perfectly honest, imagining myself in their shoes or in the shoes of other people/characters having good high school lives genuinely made me want to improve my circumstances.
