Rant: Enough with the zoom meetings that could have been an email

Ever since corporate boomers discovered zoom meetings during the pandemic, they simply can't resist the urge to book a meeting for any reason whatsoever. Zoom must have had the simplest UI for them to understand because we have plenty of better platforms but they insist that we keep the zoom apps installed which add to the annoyance. 

Honestly, if your meeting isn't that important and it's not gonna last longer than 15 minutes, then please just use an email or Whatsapp/Telegram group. Legally speaking it's just better because emails can be evidence in a court of law if something important was agreed and while you can record zoom meetings,  an email isn't gonna waste precious hard drive space.

Bottom line: Only book zoom meetings for important stuff that's gonna require a lot of human input in real time.
