I absolutely love love love ASOUE, as stated in my bio, i have literally watched the show 11 times and have all the books. I can go on many rants about this show because i love it and i will be ranting about it right now.
Important character breakdowns (characters that are seen in almost every book/episode.)
- Violet Baudelaire; Oldest sibling of the Baudelaires, she takes after her mother as she is an engineer, she is 14 years old in the beginning and i believe 15 in the end. Mainly takes care of younger siblings. Incredibly creative.
- Klaus Baudelaire; Middle sibling of the Baudelaires, he takes after his father as he reads quite often and it shows in his intelligence. He is 12 in the beginning and 13 in the end. Very intelligent.
- Sunny Baudelaire; Youngest sibling of the Baudelaires, she takes after neither of her parents as her talent is having remarkably sharp teeth, she quite literally bit a rock into bits and climbed an abandoned elevator shaft with just her teeth. She is in infant, i believe one year old. Very bitey?
- Count Olaf; He is the first caretaker of the Baudelaires after their parents passing in a very mysterious house fire. He is able to get custody of them by tricking the very dim witted banker, Mr. Poe, into thinking that closest living relative meant within proximity, not blood relation. He is a terrible actor (don't tell him i said that), and an overall vile man.
- Mr. Poe; Previously mentioned in Count Olaf's breakdown, he is incredibly stupid and constantly has a cold, he is always coughing, sneezing, and he always carries around a hanky. He is easily persuaded/manipulated into things, one example of this is when he wasn't able to recognize any of Count Olaf's disguises even though the kids urged him to look further. His character is named after renowned author, Edgar Allan Poe, which is upsetting to me considering Poe was quite brilliant and Mr. Poe is very dumb.

My Personal favorite character(s) include:
- Montgomery Montgomery (Uncle Monty); He was seen only in the second book, The Reptile Room, He was particularly interested in herpetology, no, its not the study of herpes or the study of plants, however it is the study of.. you'll never guess it.. Reptiles! I loved his character so much, he was filled with loads of energy (not too much that it would tire you, though), He cared deeply for the children, he was extremely passionate about his work, (personally i love it when someone is passionate about something đ), and he actually made his work seem interesting to a point where I considered a future career in herpetology. Overall his character was extremely charismatic and lovable, he wasn't blinded by Count Olaf's disguise and genuinely believed when the children warned him. Unfortunately in the end of the book Count Olaf murders him using his own studying material, black mamba venom, and gets away with it âšī¸
Anyways, this rant is getting a bit long, I checked on word and it was 505 words.. (I wrote 143 words about Uncle Monty.. i love him) Good night/morning, everyone, i hope you enjoy this if you see it <3
