I gotta stop over-intellectualizing my emotions as a way of avoiding feeling them. Yeah, sure, there is some emotional intelligence to show when you're aware of the cause and effect of why you feel the way you feel. There is some emotional intelligence to show when you're capable of finding solutions to the problems you face. But how emotionally mature are you really if you can't sit alone with your uncomfortable emotions? How emotionally mature are you truly if you don't allow time to collect your thoughts and feel your emotions before attempting to speak logically and find solutions?
Direct communication is great but is every anxious thought a warrant to over-explain? Am I just being transparent and direct about how I feel or am I unintentionally rewiring my brain to need constant reassurance to be okay?
Chill out Soob things are gonna be okay :)
