I've been slowly de-googlifying everything currently so... here's some helpful things that can help you (or not! Idc do whatever you want)
These are my own personal choices, so they may or may not be the top tier choices but these are the ones I like + most if not all are very privacy focused, so don't worry too much about you being tracked or whatever
(Will be updated once I find other alts to services I use!)
Default Search Engine:
Whoogle (selfhosted, since all the public instances listed do not work or use cloudflare)
Kagi (Paid)
Default Browser:
Firefox + Betterfox (A script to help make Firefox more private and faster)
Ungoogled-Chromium (A chromium browser that gets rid of all of google's tracking)
Kiwi Browser (A chromium based browser that allows extensions on Android (Firefox Beta/Nightly also do this))
Cloud storage (Google Drive):
Filen (By using my link to sign up, you'll be able to get 10gb free and I get 10gb free! Pretty cool huh?)
Sandstorm (selfhosted)
Google Docs, Spreadsheets, PDF editor etc:
Google Keep:
Standard Notes (A bunch of features are pay-walled at high prices (like adding images), but if you want really simple note taking then this is really good)
Notesnook (some features are pay-walled they are very cheap however)
Gboard:
Florisboard (currently does not support multi-lang keyboards)
Email:
K-9Mail (Android phone-only I believe)
SMS Messaging:
Signal (also recommended by whistleblower Edward Snowden if u care lol)
YouTube:
Invidious (Not really an "alt" to youtube (in the classic sense), but rather displays and plays all videos from YouTube without all the tracking and stuff, which means you can still watch all your favorite channels from YouTube to here without a problem! (Example: YouTube & Invidious)
youtube-local (selfhosted)
Andrioid:
GrapheneOS____________________
These are extensions I use to make it more privacy friendly on the internet. Note that I use Firefox so these may not be on chromium-based browsers (or rather "differently")

i personally am a big fan of kagi search for websearching! it's a paid service but the promise behind it is that you are the customer, not data aggregators. also, it's got a lot of features that makes researching easier, including setting preferred sites, using shortcuts to immediately search on another site (e.g. wikipedia, yt) (also this means that those searches do not count towards your tally since they're done elsewhere), and they have some integration with a couple services such as wolfram alpha.

Important to mention ig that if you want 100% privacy it's probably better to self-host rather than relying on other services. But we all know we're not gonna do that so hey it's not that bad, at least there's the fuckers on GitHub :) (not sarcasm, gen)
