my first ever CD's!!

so a little bit of context, the local mall hosts an antique fair monthly that sells all kinds of vintage stuff, jewelry, books, old coins, vinyls, hell i even saw a few old phones there! however i somehow had NO idea about this until today when i went to the mall and i accidentally stumbled across this antique fair. i was like hey lets check it out, who knows maybe i'll find something cute! so i was looking at the jewelry (which was extremely cute but also expensive unfortunately :( ) when i noticed in the corner a booth with a bunch of vinyls, cassettes and... CDs!!! yall know im a huge 2000s fanatic and ive always wanted to start a cute 00s CD collection, so ofc i had to tune in! i RAN to the booth and start browsing through the cd's, but they were all seemingly just a bunch of indie, rock, 80s/90s, underground artists/bands which is like so lame (no offense to the people who like that stuff) LIKE GIMME SOME BRITNEY SPEARS!! as i was about to give up and go home empty handed i saw it, right there in all its glory, a rihanna "music of the sun" cd!! FINALLY SOMETHING I ACTUALLY RECOGNIZE. and right above it there were not one, not two, but THREE LADY GAGA CDS!! more specifically, the fame monster, born this way and some mixtape cd. and then i also found "shock value II" by timbaland, and i love me some timbaland! as much as i wanted to buy all of them, i was on a budget and they were sorta expensive so i unfortunately had to choose just 2, which ended up being "music of the sun" and "the fame monster". i bought the cd's and the seller was nice enough to give me a bonus cd for completely free from some band called "the wreckers"?? ive never heard of these ppl in my life lol but im going to give them a listen sometime soon, who knows maybe theyre pretty cool! but anyways once i got home i dusted off the good ol' cd player that's been sitting in the storage room for years, but once i did it i realized that i COMPLETELY forgot how to use this thing, like wow its really been that long huh. like no joke it took me like 15 whole minutes to get it to work... and another minute to figure out how to get the cd out of it's case x_x but once it was all figured out and got the cd to play i instantly got transported back to the 2000s! and the sound quality and bass is AMAZING, especially for an ancient cd player lol. the tiny laptop/phone speakers cant even compare! also i took some pics of the cd's on my digital camera, check em out! ... and i apologize in advance for the amateurishness (wow thats a long word lol) im still getting used to this thing >_>

this album is absolute pop perfection from start to finish... need i say more??

it even has the original sticker... how cool is that! also dont mind the scratches, shes been through it

2. "Music of the sun" - Rihanna (2005- wow this cd is as old as me lol)

imma be honest i wasnt too familiar w this album until now, the only songs i knew were "pon de replay" and "if its lovin that you want" (which im absolutely OBSESSED with atm and the reason i bought this cd in the first place... and bc i love riri lol), but now that ive listened to the whole album i can confidently say I LOVE IT!!! its giving 2005-2006 summer vibes and im so here for it!

this is the cd i've gotten for free.. i honestly cant say much about it because i havent even listened to it yet, but once i do i'll update this
