thinking about a recurring dream ٩(˘◡˘)۶

recently i had a dream that was the same as one i had two nights in a row about a few months ago.. im not sure what it could mean? 

how it starts:

i start off in some random warehouse, ive never seen it before.

each time i have had this dream, i always look to my left and see a man with a construction hat, about hip-deep in water, in a random room. i then look to my right and see a boy with brown medium length hair facing away from me.

the boy starts to run through an old looking wooden door and i start to chase him, when i run through the door after he does i end up in what looks like a hotel hallway and each time i catch up to him just a tiny bit i can physically feel my body slowing down creating distance between us, this goes on for about 15 seconds give or take- im not exactly sure.

now this is where the dream has changed from the first and second time:

the first time i had this dream, the boy runs up a staircase that's straight ahead, when i reach the staircase that is when my dream ends.

the second time, the boy runs into an open door to the right of the staircase and just as the first, when i reach the door i wake up.

now for this third time, it was the exact same as the second. i'm not sure what it could mean- if it means anything that is. i just thought it was super weird that i had this dream twice in a row and then a third time a few months later, just felt like it's interesting enough to share!!
