32 | humbled as usual

spent the first half of Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. We gave each other snacks we liked and he surprised me with flowers and we went to my favorite cafe. I’m glad that I have him.

second half of Valentine’s Day one of our other friends came over and we just lazed around and played with our VR headsets and got dinner. Really nothing very interesting, but I got to spend a good day with my relationship and friends.

today, I went to a job fair at the hospital I work at. I don’t really know how job fairs were like so I kind of just printed out copies of my resume and raw dogged the whole thing. Look, I didn’t know it was basically an interview! Next time I gotta make sure to rehearse interview questions because I was grasping for straws in there LORRDD.

I stumbled a lot on my words and I’m honestly surprised the guy understood what I was saying. Not to mention my pants button literally undid itself in the middle of the interview?? Like?? HUH??

my social energy was COOKED after that I curled up and rotted in bed for the rest of the day after that one, but I’m glad I could get some communication practice in. Ugh I’ll always hate professionalism, but I get I need it to survive or whatever

the good news is however, was that I wasn’t actually interested in getting any jobs in the units I interviewed for, I mainly did it so that I could cast a net out to what’s available to me and learn about new graduate programs. Overall, I’m happy I went.

im gonna be so for real but it’s so odd to me that in my job im genuinely going to have to worry about like, accidentally killing someone ??? like,,, man that is a weird thought. I hope that doesn’t make me too anxious.
