Racing Miku 2024!

For the past few years, the Racing Miku's have been VERY hit or miss (emphasis on the miss part lol) but this year I feel like GoodSmile went all out. I really like the hat and the sleeves, I think this color palette is very pleasing to the eye. I especially like the detail of her hat brim having holes in it to fit her giant pigtails. And this year they gave her some more hair, she's not thinning anymore thank god (our girl got extensions)

My only real gripe about this design overall is just that I think the bottom of the outfit could've done with more accessories, maybe a bit of pink frill here and there, the bows on the shoes could've used with more embellishment too.

I also missed when Racing miku would have more of a theme to her outfit that mixed something unrelated with racing, and I think this does that perfectly. One of my favorite Miku's from the GoodSmile Racing Miku line is her 2017 design where she's a little pixie/fairy.

This is a concept they already did years prior, but I thought that design was way too focused on making her look "Sexy" instead of making her look like Miku. 2017's Racing Miku was so cute and reminded me a lot of tinkerbell, which I think is what they were going for since there was a lot of art of her in this design looking kind of sassy like those photos of Tinkerbell from the original Peter Pan.

I can't wait to see the posters and other illustrations for this Miku because her design actually looks really good this year and there's so many concepts they can do with it.
