A friend I hold dear to me,

My love is ever-growing,

With a pain ever flowing.

A friend I cherish forever,

A love left not in the past.

I love you for you,

My heartstrings pulled like a doll.

My love is fostering within,

Urging forever, I cannot cave in.

A friend so kind and clear,

A love so far yet so near.
