i need to talk about some albums i really love.

oh my god so after listening to this is why all the way through i started listening to more albums as a whole instead of playlists and mixtapes again as god intended and AAUUGGHHHHHHHH so here are some 23-24 releases that are just incredible.

obviously This Is Why - Paramore (2023)

absolutely beautiful. it flows together really well and there isn't a single song on the list that i don't like or feel the urge to skip when listening through.

crave is such a great song. the lyrics and composition are just awesome. although, i think big man, little dignity ends up winning for my favorite mostly melody wise.

this is one of my favorite bands for sure. i'll be completely honest i was a little skeptical first because it's much... quieter than We're Not Here to be Loved however it ends up working just incredibly well for them. The acoustic songs were beautiful and unique, and it was honestly nice to be able to clearly hear the vocals outside of the noise of their previous album.

i think my favorite from this one has to be what the f#%! was said just very fun and i love it standalone from the album as well

the sound of grieving also is really interesting to listen to. i like the weird experimental stuff, but clearly not everyone does- it has the least streams out of the album XD

i waited up for this album to drop on release day, i won't lie. for the most part i've stopped listening to much of this style of indie but i really enjoy this one a lot. Die Your Daughter got me good. i think i gave that song alone 60 streams night of release. My Football Team has a really captivating melody that i really enjoy. i wish that they were closer to the middle of the EP, because i really just want to listen to those two over and over again and then turn it off haha
