NEW HOMESTAR RUNNER TOON And Aquabats Album Cover??

2/13/24,

Mood: Ripping out my own vocal chords from excitement.

These last 24 hours, for no reason at all, both The Aquabats and Homestar Runner posted some sort of update. Of course, this is a win for autistic teenagers and old people everywhere.

The Aquabats album cover was finally (no pun intended) made public on Parker Jacob's instagram account last night. I saw it before I went to bed, and could not sleep thereafter. It does seem that this is their final album, because besides the fact that it's title is "Finally!", there are little doodles on it if you look closely that are a variety of callbacks, and there is an image of the battletram riding away into the sunset. Also, CHAINSAW THE PRINCE OF KARATE, CATBOY, AND THE PROFESSOR ARE IN THIS ALBUM????????? I do hope they incorperate more of the early ska sound they had, if they are bringing back older members for this album. Even though it would be a sad goodbye, I am THRILLED at the thought of new aquabats music.

And now, just 1 or 2 hours ago, the Homestar Runner website was updated. Last update was in october for halloween, so it's been a little while. It is rare to see cartoons not related to a holiday in the last few years, so this was a special treat. Besides the fact that the cartoon was, very cursed, featuring front facing homestar, I am again very thrilled. Homestar Runner also got a new main page option, and an update about the Dangeresque point and click games. CRAZY!!!!!!! AAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

These two events are not linked to one another, but happened in such a short amount of time I really do feel blessed in some kind of way.

Sidenote:

Still typing this blog on my IBM Thinkpad T60, and I really enjoy how spacehey looks on it. The system font (from like 2006) blends pretty well. It is also nice to be able to burn my own music, and enjoy custom playlists when I'm out and about.
