Deep Space 9 Weed Episode

who wants to hear my idea for a DS9 weed episode that I've been outlining for a while. too late you're gonna hear it anyway lol

(This happens at the end of season two, so before the full on Dominion War but also when Dukat is still seen as a motherfucker instead of an true ally)

• Episode starts off with Sisko and the bridge trying to find out what’s causing an error in their defensive systems. Gul Dukat is coming aboard in a day so they can talk about the potential Dominion problem but they’re still very suspicious of him and his motives.
• Keko O’Brian comes back from a horticultural excursion to a new planet and brings back some samples with her to study in the hydroponics bay.
• Uh oh! Fire in the hydroponics bay! No one gets seriously injured, a few minor burns. But most of those new plants get burned up and the smoke goes into the ventilation system oh nooooo.
• It gets to the medical room first. Every patient Bashir is treating is suddenly like ‘damn doc i feel great!’. Bashir is like 'what tf is this vapor and where is it coming from'. Then the smoke gets to the bridge. Oh boy.
• Sisko has the giggles big time. Jadzia is like ‘damn I’m kinda hungry actually I’m taking my lunch’. Worf gets paranoid but has no coordination and goes and sits in a corner or his quarters feeling like he’s gonna float away if he’s not grasping a chair or something.
• The smoke leaks in to the whole promenade. 25th century Burning Man happens. Quark’s Bar is insane. Everyone is ordering food. No one has any reservations regarding money or secrecy so the gambling tables are packed but everyone is way too truthful to win much. Ferengis are immune to the weed smoke so Quark, Rom, and Nog are completely fine and are 1000% taking advantage of this.
• Odo is a pile of goo the entire time.
• Garak is also immune to the weed smoke because his Obsidian Order training subjected him to every toxin known ever so barely any drug affects him.
• Dukat arrives at the station. He totally plans on fucking up Deep Space Nine by installing spyware gadgets/code everywhere since now he knows their defense systems are weakened, but then he gets affected by the weed smoke and keeps forgetting what he’s doing lol.
• Quark-Rom-Nog-Garak team up episode! They have to sober everyone up before Dukat plants his spyware! Quark doesn’t want to because he’s making a ton of money from food sales but he also doesn’t want the potential for anyone to listen to his back-alley deals he’s always making. Bashir is there also but is very loopy. He finds out everyone’s high but needs help to make everyone un-high.
• In the end the team make a sobering spray and put that through the ventilation system so everyone stops getting high, then like an hour later everyone starts sobering up. Dukat can’t remember why he was there so he just leaves lol. Bashir ends up asking Kiko for more of the plant so he can use it for pain relief for his patients sometimes.
