Just a mum offering hugs and support to those that need it most.

I was born in the 1980s. I grew up seeing, listening, learning about and having a better understanding of sexuality and gender identity than my parents or grandparents ever did.
I just wanted to let anyone that really needs to hear it know.

It does get easier.
Healing takes time.
There are safe people you can trust to talk with but be wary of trusting too easily.
You are not alone.
Living authentically is worth far more than pleasing the people that call you family.
Sometimes the real family you deserve, isn't the one you are born to, but the one that you find along your journey.
Being happy with who you are is far more valuable than hiding it.
We hear you. We see you. We love you.
It's going to be okay.
Be you and nothing less.
You have value and worth, your feelings are valid, and it's okay to show them.

I am LGBTQIA. I am neurodiverse. I am a survivor. I am a mother, and a wife.
I would never shut my door on a child or teen that is crying out for help.
I wouldn't do it to my own child, I wouldn't do that to someone else's.
If you or someone you love is needing to talk and aren't sure what to do: Sit down with them, don't talk, and just listen and provide them the emotional support they may need. Having nonjudgmental friends and partners is so so important, and accepting someone for all that they are, flaws and all, is part of loving who they really are.

This past week, was Trans Awareness Week. With suicide rates skyrocketing in the USA, especially among transyouth, we need to be more aware of what living as transgender is like and what the differences between supporting our loved ones, and hurting them really is. And my goal with this blog, is to build outreach, and community within the spaces I visit and enjoy.

If you need someone to talk to, and you don't know where to turn, feel free to inbox me.

My inbox and page, is a safe space and I will not tolerate bullying or shaming of any kind.
