Three Radikal Rekerds #7: Hynerian Haruspices eating Hamburgers

Todays update is a teeny-tiny bit special, as all three releases featured today are also Spacehey users in my friends list. So without anymore prevaricating, allow me to introduce anyone of you following my blog to some of your fellow Spaceheyannite's musical endeavours :D

Lexa Terrestrial, Helluva Drug
Genre: Trap/Hip-Hop/Rap
A moody sci-fi synth banger from a self-styled "UFO Rap Goddess", a rather apt appellation if you've heard her stuff! This creative lady appears top have more of a presence on Spotify and Soundclound than my usual online haunts, but what I've heard on her profile is all pretty amazing. I'd also recommend googling the songs Clout Demons and Queen of Nowhere, both mean, melancholy and meaningful anthems.

Hexing Vex, Haunt
Genre: Prog Rock/Doom Metal
Standout track: Build Your Wall
Illinois based outfit making a fantastically groovy prog-cum-occult metal brand of music, reminding me at turns of The Vision Bleak and Danava. I'd also recommend the track Living Room too, a great lurid horror story!

Forrest Friends, MADGRAMS
Genre: Experimental/Freak Folk
Standout track: a
I essentially think of this as musique concrete, but instead of debuting in the hallowed halls of an avant-garde musical foundation, it's taking place in a knackered old shed in an overgrown motorway underpass. The vocals in this are amazing, and the guys behind it are lovely lads to boot! I'd also recommend the listening to the limited untitled release they put out on the mysterious Chocolate Monk label (it's entry choc.429 in the list) for a work of wildly wonky windwork.
