How to block the "Cool New People" section! (to remove gore and all of that)

Hi everyone! I haven't posted a blog entry in a while, but I'm back, and I'm making this tutorial since this site is going through another gore wave rn and I want you all to stay safe!


    Ok, so, for the tutorial we are going 2 need:

  • A browser that supports extensions (it doesn't matter if you're on pc or mobile, but if you're on mobile, you're going to need to install firefox)

  • Ublock Origin


If you don't have Ublock Origin, go ahead and install it, and if you dont know how, then here are the instructions:


Instructions:

So, first of all, you're going to open your browser of preference's extension store (I'll be using Firefox). Then, search for Ublock origin and install!

Now, for the tutorial itself:

So first, we are going to open Ublock Origin's options menu (you can find it in the extensions menu) and open the "My filters" tab.

It should look like this:

Now, we will paste this code into it: ! 2023-09-06 https://spacehey.com spacehey.com##.cool.new-people

How click on "Apply Settings" and the "Cool New People" section will be gone!
