My Curio Cabinet of Curiosity

So its about time I share with you my baby, my little guys, my two most favorite curio cabinets in the word!

If you want to just look at the pictures feel free! But I will describe everything that is in these beauts!

Starting off from the top!:

We got me and my spouse's wedding swords at the top! I have an antique globe that I found in an abandoned house, and then this cool gargoyle style lantern from Walmart, but I found it during Christmas lol!

Okay, left cabinet first.

In the very back we have my newest addition, my Phantomasy mask that I got for Christmas (It just came in on like Feb 9th lol)

The journal on the left is me and my spouses wedding guest book! The journal on the right is my spell/tarot book I am in the process of making!

The hourglass is bronze and has the tendency for getting stuck. I found the snake jar at a thrift store, and the figurine is of a crying angel. Also hard to spot, front and center is a dinosaur ring that is very impractical to wear.

This is the wedding shelf tbh.

In the back I have mini me coming out of a coffin. My best friend made this for me, down to sculpting the doll, making the body, and even sewing the clothes! Mini me is sitting on a glass skull.

Very left picture frame is a picture of me and my spouse from our wedding!

In the middle, we have a gopher hand holding flowers and a silver candle with a love note.

The little vile is a mink heart. Next to it is a golden heart statue that can be used to hold flowers. And then lastly we have my Vampire Blooms perfume, love the scent so much!

Tarot shelf.

Movie Tarot deck I got in Seattle WA. Rider Waite Deck is my most recent. Horror Tarot I got from a book store. Rainbow Rider Waite deck (front left) is my oldest deck, shes mean. Ghost Oracle Deck (front right) is one I dont use because I dont know how to read oracle.

In the back is a print off of a drawing

John Dickson Batten - Twelve Women Round the Fire, 1892

Horror shelf. Ghost face Mask, Ghost Face phone replica,. Rubber heart. Freddy Kreuger hand (hate him, I just had the hand tho) Prop knife that kind of looks like the one from Ghost Face.

Then random glasses cause there needed to be something there.

Beetlejuice Funko Pop my mom gifted me. Beetlejuice sandworm, "Sandy" I sculpted and painted. Two gay rats. This game that was given to me called Medium, not really a fun game but it looks pretty to display.

Some of my pots I made and painted, I also did the (fake) floral arrangements. The demon one is sitting on top of a black/white Rubik's cube I refuse to shuffle.

Behind the pots is the tiniest painting of Hamantha from Jack Stauber.

Last one on the left side!

Its hard to see this one when standing so I dont put a lot in it. My Doctor Horrible CD, my Hansel & Gretel vhs, and some Victorian inspired grooming kit for dolls.

OKAY NOW FOR THE OTHER CABINET!

This is the very top part.

The tea kettle is a silver antique from my great-great-grandma.

Two encased beetles, I realize its not a good picture of them. The left one is an Egyptian Scarab, and the right one is a Rhinoceros Beetle.

In the back we have a 'Bone Painting' made of fish bones and mink bones to make a butterfly looking subject. (I had someone ask me if it was a real butterfly skeleton. No hate to them, but....)

So the canine skull in the box is actually one of my first big oddities I ever got. We are unsure what exact animal it is, but it is a canine. I bought the glass box at JoAnns I believe and housed it there. There is also a rosary wrapped in the skull for Aesthetics. On top of the box is a little isopod.

Tucked in way in the back left is a jar of dried rose petals from and my spouses first date.

Infront of that are some vials. A vial of bobcat bones, and a vile of an articulated rattlesnake spine.

Right next to those is holy water, anatomic skull and muscle system, beetle wings, and a few spell jars I have made.

Oh boy here we go.

In the back we have a crushed velvet skull. To the skulls left is my great-great-grandmas perfume vial.

Infront of that is my human teeth collection! The big jar on the left is all my teeth from when I had my wisdom teeth and 2 molars extracted. the small vials, the left one is my spouses tooth that the dentist pulled with pliers (scary!) the middle vial is my friends baby teeth, and the right vial is my same friends wisdom teeth.

There is a mink skull that is partially covered by the bone pen and feathers. Alligator skull and skin preserved. Jar of river rocks from a friend in the back with the green bag being fake teeth.

Another spell jar with a jaw tied to it.

Alligator vertebrae at the right, its super sharp and pointy compared to other vertebrae! It is insane! Another Glass skull, this time in Red. some rocks and knick knacks.

Green glass wear set from my great-great-grandma. She thought it was uranium glass, I doubted it was, the color and feel was off. Tested it and its normal glass just tinted green. Lots of people ask!

My dolls! Raggity ann found at an estate sale that had the CREEPIEST basement. Harlequin doll from a DIFFERENT estate sale. And a fisher price toy telephone.... Skinamarink reference!

This is it. This is the last one........ I'm going to miss all of you who actually stuck thru and read about my dumb cabinets!! boo hoo hoo.... anyways.

This doll has a music box that doesn't work when you wind it, but it will randomly start playing music. Some (me) claim its ghosts, while others (my spouse) claims its a jam in the gears that randomly get unjostled for 5-10 seconds before jamming again..... Whos to say! I found her at a thrift store, well, a friend found her and sent me a picture. I felt so captivated that I immediately left work to go pick her up before anyone else did. She started 'singing' as soon as I grabbed her and stopped as soon as the cashier grabbed her and threw her face first into the bag. She started singing again when I stepped out of the store and unbagged her. I cleaned all her clothes and her hair and body as best as I could and she is lovely.

Radical Mycology book about mushrooms.

Little Dracula, a Halloween decoration I have had since I was a kid.

Anyways that is all! Hope you enjoyed it, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

We had the swords instead of rings, and instead of a first dance we had a first fight.... with the swords! It was really fun and cool! It was also on Friday the 13th last October and held at a haunted mansion!! I got to send you the video of the fight!
