THE AWFUL MISCHARACTERIZATION OF ALASTOR ALTRUIS DARNNNN

Also lmao this is /not serious, I'm just STATING some FACTS that ppl tend to overlook when shipping popular character from even more popular series, Alastor, or the RaDiO dEmOn. WHatever. 

Starting off simple, that man is aroace, or aromantic asexual, meaning that he hates/doesn't like both romantic and sexual relations with other characters in the show. From whatever I've heard, Viv herself(creator of series) specified this, before later on in season one episode 7, Rosie, a very good friend of Alastor's, refers to him as an

'Ace in the hole'

This term has many meanings, but taking the context of the scene into consideration, Rosie uses that term to hint at his sexuality, aka how he's aroace. But maybe that can be a bit complicated, as the term can also mean that someone has a hidden advantage, or a secret weapon. STILL, i believe that's not all we can look into.

During the ending song of the first season finale, while everyone is singing and yada yada, we see an injured Alastor limping his way towards his radio tower, getting in and doing his scary lil monologue. The thing we should focus on is these specific lines he sings while looking like he's really losing his marbles.

'I'm hungry for freedom like never before,

the constrains of my deal surely have a back door.' 

Followed by

'Once I figure out how to unclip my wings,

guess who will be pulling on all the strings.'

I don't think I needa point out the mention of a deal right? He's made a deal, seemingly with a being far more powerful than he, and he's desperate to try and free himself from the rules set by it. He got hit by an angelic weapon minutes beforehand, and is injured to the point that he's barely walking with ease at the start, clutching onto his wound like a zombie or something. The deal and the wound are weighing him down, maybe even stressing him out so much that he feels the need to 'search' for an exit faster. We also see that he promises that when he finds a loophole in the deal he's been restrained from all this time, he won't hesitate to attempt to take over all of hell? Heaven? Both? It's all possible knowing the Radio demon's powers.

Which begs the question, has he not been using all of this powers all this time? HE CAN GROW UP SO BIG THAT HE EATS PEOPLE LIKE ANTS. HE BATTLED AGAINST ADAM, AND EVEN THOUGH HE LOST, THE FACT THAT HE LASTED AT LEAST A LITTLE SHOWS THAT HE'S PRETTY STRONG FOR A SINNER.

So what can we expect from Bambi over here? Going back to the topic of shipping, I'd like to start off saying that yes, I believe Alastor would NOW be willing to get into some sort of relationship, but with good reason.

He uses it to help himself find that darn loophole in his deal. That's why he's probably target only high status people, we've seen how he signed a deal with ex-overlord Husk before, I firmly believe that he will do something similar in the near future. Now he has access to so many powerful individuals like Charlie, Lucifer's daughter, Lucifer himself, Angel Dust, Valentinos favourite 'toy', Valentino being a close 'friend' of Vox. Even Vaggie for fucks sake she was an exorsist, who knows about angelic weapons, powers, and knows how to kill them. He has so many cards up his sleeve...

What I wanna say, is that Alastor would date for the tax benefits/j

okok I mean that he'd definitely manipulate other people to gain the benefits that come withh being with them, sexual or not, he seemed fairly desperate to get that freedom idk about you all.
