are we all just our scars

can you remember a time before you were defined entirely by other people? for reals? how much of you now is you, absent fighting and reclaiming and struggling and adhering?

what parts of you are a response to trauma? would you be rid of them if you could?

PTSD can be overcome it just takes time, several years and maybe decades. But there is a way out.

it's a little more complicated than ptsd, we are built off of our childhoods and everything relies on that foundation

I've been stuck in that thought as well. Ever since I moved to Canada I had a lot of free time which I used to explore things I played or watched during childhood but it only brings more grief over my past. We just have to find a way to move on or find new things especially in a time when everyone's upset with the present.
